ICKYPEDIA TECHNICAL NOTES
The Listies, best-smelling, award winning book ‘ICKYPEDIA: A Dictionary of Disgusting New Words’ is now on the stage! ICKYPEDIA is a seriously silly show that answers all of life’s important questions, like: how do you take a SMELLFIE? What does POOETRY sound like? Who is the world’s worst chef? What is a HOOTENGRANNY? And how does one avoid a FARTQUAKE? Anarchic, spontaneous and astoundingly funny ICKYPEDIA uneducates and delights audiences everywhere it goes! (Rated D for Disgusting.)
Included in the purchase of this production is a vibrant, engaging marketing package that is designed to be easily tailored by venues to suit their house styles (see video clip and poster examples). ICKYPEDIA LIVE has 8 short comedy video clips professionally produced by Penguin Books that can be shared on social media. Closer to launch the company will produce more videos and images to promote the tour. The book has already sold over 10000 copies in Australia. The company maintains an on-going conversation with their audience members and fans through e-newsletters (4000 plus email list) and social media (2600 likes on Facebook and 1500 Instagram followers)
The touring party consists of 3 people. 2 cast and 1 technician.
